Job Summary:


FlySafair is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Call Centre team as Customer Service Agents. In this front-line role, you will assist passengers with flight bookings, manage queries, handle changes, and provide general support to ensure a smooth and satisfying FlySafair experience.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Respond to customer queries via phone, email, or live chat in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist with new bookings, changes, cancellations, and check-in support

  • Provide accurate information regarding flight schedules, policies, baggage, and services

  • Handle complaints or service recovery issues with empathy and efficiency

  • Maintain updated records of customer interactions using FlySafair systems

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Operations, Ticketing) to resolve complex issues

  • Follow standard operating procedures and maintain data security protocols




Requirements:



  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) required

  • Language: Fluent in English (additional South African languages are a plus)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask during peak times

  • Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • South African ID or valid work authorization




Preferred Experience:



  • 6–12 months in customer service, call centre, or travel/tourism sector (advantageous)

  • Familiarity with airline reservation or ticketing systems like Amadeus or Sabre (a plus)
