Job Summary
OceanGlide Cruises is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Call Centre Executive to support our maritime hiring operations. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for cruise staff applicants, handling inquiries, coordinating interviews, and delivering high-quality support to candidates around the world. Your ability to communicate professionally, manage multiple schedules, and maintain accurate records will directly impact the efficiency of our hiring pipeline. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to cruise staff recruitment, interview scheduling, and onboarding inquiries.
- Respond to candidate queries promptly via phone, email, or messaging platforms, ensuring a professional and helpful approach.
- Coordinate interview appointments across time zones, collaborating with hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates.
- Maintain accurate records of communication, interview outcomes, and scheduling in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Follow up with candidates to confirm attendance, share necessary documentation, and answer pre-interview questions.
- Escalate complex or sensitive inquiries to senior HR personnel as needed.
- Provide ongoing support for mass hiring campaigns and virtual recruitment drives.
- Work closely with other departments including HR, travel, and operations to ensure a smooth candidate journey.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of recruitment or call center processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM or ATS systems.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a call center, recruitment coordination, or HR support role.
- Prior experience in the cruise line, travel, or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Freshers with exceptional communication skills and enthusiasm to learn are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
- Full-time position
- Flexible shifts may be required, including evenings or weekends, to accommodate global candidate schedules.
- Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with flexibility for international coordination).

- Ability to manage global communications with cultural sensitivity.
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of applicant and organizational data.
- Multilingual abilities are an asset, especially in Spanish, Tagalog, or Hindi.
