OceanGlide Cruises is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cabin Crew English Language Instructor to deliver specialized training to aspiring cruise line professionals. The role focuses on enhancing English communication, hospitality etiquette, and customer service skills tailored for cruise ship operations. As an instructor, you will play a vital role in preparing trainees for international cruise line standards, ensuring they possess the confidence and language proficiency needed for exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive English language training programs for cabin crew aspirants.
- Incorporate hospitality and cruise-specific terminology into the curriculum.
- Conduct role-playing sessions to simulate onboard customer service scenarios.
- Develop training materials, lesson plans, and evaluation tools.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate performance records.
- Organize workshops on cross-cultural communication, professional grooming, and etiquette.
- Collaborate with the training team to ensure alignment with cruise line industry requirements.
- Stay updated with trends and requirements in the cruise and hospitality sector.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Hospitality, or a related field.
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (preferred).
- Proven experience in teaching English or conducting corporate language training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and practical learning modules.
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Proficiency in training tools, digital platforms, and online teaching methods.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in English language instruction, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or aviation sector.
- Experience in cruise line or cabin crew training will be considered a strong advantage.
Working Hours
- Flexible training schedules (Monday to Friday), with occasional weekend sessions based on batch requirements.
- Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (adjustable for online or international trainees).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- In-depth understanding of customer service protocols in cruise and hospitality industries.
- Ability to coach and mentor students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Creative approach to language instruction, blending theory with real-world applications.
