Job Summary


Fresher Jobs Hub is looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) for Lead Generation & Business Development who can help us build high-quality prospect pipelines, book qualified meetings, and support the end-to-end business development cycle. You will research target markets, identify and qualify leads, craft first-touch outreach (email, LinkedIn, social, phone), maintain our CRM, and collaborate closely with the sales/marketing team to turn opportunities into revenue. This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, loves structured processes, and enjoys measurable targets.




Key Responsibilities



  • Prospect Research & List Building



    • Identify ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles) and buyer personas across industries and geographies.

    • Build and enrich prospect lists using LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase, ZoomInfo, etc.

    • Verify emails and contact data to maintain high data accuracy.



  • Outbound Lead Generation



    • Draft and run cold email, LinkedIn, and social outreach campaigns.

    • Personalize outreach at scale while maintaining templates and playbooks.

    • Schedule discovery calls and demos for the sales team; manage calendar invites and reminders.



  • Qualification & Handover



    • Conduct initial qualification (BANT/CHAMP or similar frameworks).

    • Log discovery notes, objections, and next steps in the CRM.

    • Seamlessly hand off qualified leads to the appropriate sales owner.



  • CRM & Reporting



    • Keep CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, Salesforce) up to date with accurate status, activities, and notes.

    • Prepare weekly dashboards on KPIs: leads sourced, response rates, SQLs booked, show rates, conversion %.



  • Content & Collateral Support



    • Collaborate with marketing to A/B test subject lines, copy blocks, cadences, and landing pages.

    • Repurpose insights from calls into short briefs for marketing/sales enablement.



  • Market Intelligence



    • Track competitor moves, pricing, and positioning.

    • Map out new segments, events, forums, and communities where prospects can be engaged.



  • Process Improvement



    • Document SOPs, continuously refine workflows, and suggest tool/process optimizations.






Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Strong research skills with the ability to spot decision-makers and buying signals quickly.

  • Excellent written and spoken English; able to craft concise, compelling outreach copy.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Pipedrive) and one prospecting platform (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, etc.).

  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for data cleaning, segmentation, and reporting.

  • Understanding of basic sales metrics (MQL, SQL, CAC, LTV, pipeline velocity).

  • Ability to work with templates, sequences, and automation tools while maintaining personalization discipline.

  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and follow-through.




Experience



  • Preferred: 1–3 years in lead generation, sales development, business development, or virtual assistance focused on B2B outreach.

  • Freshers welcome if you can demonstrate strong writing skills, exceptional research ability, and a willingness to learn fast.

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, IT services, staffing/recruitment, or digital marketing agencies is a plus.




Working Hours



  • Remote, flexible schedule with the ability to overlap at least 4 hours with the target market’s time zone (e.g., North America, UK/EU, APAC depending on assigned territory).

  • Occasional evening or early morning shifts may be required to support global client meetings.

  • Weekend work only during campaign launches or critical deadlines (with compensatory time off).




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Tools/Tech: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo/ZoomInfo, CRM (HubSpot/Zoho/Salesforce), Google Workspace, Email Verification tools (Hunter, NeverBounce), Outreach tools (Lemlist, Instantly, Mailshake), basic Canva or Docs for quick collateral adjustments.

  • Frameworks & Methods: ICP definition, persona mapping, BANT/CHAMP qualification, A/B testing, cadence building, pipeline management.

  • Soft Skills: Persistence, resilience to rejection, active listening, analytical thinking, structured documentation, and a “test–measure–optimize” mindset.
