Job Description

Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is looking for a detail‑oriented, data-driven Website and Social Media Manager (Virtual Assistant) to own our web presence end‑to‑end—from keeping pages fresh and optimized for search, to planning, publishing, and reporting on social content across platforms. You’ll combine hands-on execution (updating pages, creating posts, basic design) with smart analytics (tracking traffic, conversions, engagement) to help us grow our audience of students, freshers, and early-career professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Management

    • Own day-to-day updates on the website (pages, blogs, landing pages, job listings).

    • Implement on-page SEO best practices: metadata, internal linking, schema basics, image optimization, and page speed hygiene.

    • Coordinate with writers/designers to publish high-quality, keyword-informed content.

    • Run regular QA checks to fix broken links, 404s, redirects, and UX inconsistencies.

    • Monitor site analytics (GA4, Search Console) and produce monthly performance dashboards.

  • Social Media Management

    • Build and maintain the social content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube/Shorts.

    • Write platform-appropriate copy, schedule posts, and manage basic creatives (Canva or similar).

    • Track and improve KPIs: engagement rate, reach, follower growth, CTR to website, and conversions.

    • Respond to comments/DMs, escalate issues, and maintain a consistent brand voice.

    • Run A/B tests on creatives, hooks, and posting times to improve results.

  • Content & Campaign Support

    • Repurpose long-form articles into bite-sized social posts, carousels, and short videos (briefing editors where needed).

    • Support email/newsletter distribution (subject lines, snippets, links, UTM tagging).

    • Collaborate on simple landing pages for campaigns, webinars, or lead magnets.

  • Reporting & Optimization

    • Create weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommended actions.

    • Track and maintain a KPI dashboard (organic traffic, rankings, conversions, CPL from socials, etc.).

    • Stay updated on algorithm and SEO changes; recommend quick wins and longer-term improvements.

  • Operations & Coordination

    • Maintain brand guidelines and asset libraries.

    • Manage tasks and progress using project management tools (Notion/Trello/Asana).

    • Coordinate with external freelancers/agencies when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Wix) and basic HTML/CSS familiarity.

  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization, GA4 & GSC).

  • Proficiency with social media scheduling & analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).

  • Comfortable using design tools like Canva (Figma/Adobe Suite is a plus).

  • Excellent written English, with the ability to adapt tone per platform.

  • Strong analytical mindset—comfortable building and interpreting dashboards, extracting insights, and recommending actions.

  • High ownership, reliability, and ability to hit deadlines while juggling multiple tasks.

Experience

  • 2–4 years of combined experience in website/content management and social media management (agency or in-house).

  • Proven track record of improving organic traffic, social engagement, and conversion metrics.

  • Experience working remotely with distributed teams is an advantage.

  • Bonus: Experience with marketing automation/CRM (HubSpot, Mailchimp), basic video editing, or paid social.

Working Hours

  • Full-time (40 hours/week) remote role.

  • Core overlap hours: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM IST (flexible outside core hours).

  • Occasional evening or weekend availability for priority launches/campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge: SEO best practices, GA4 & Search Console, social platform algorithms, content marketing funnels, UTM tracking, basic CRO.

  • Skills: Content planning, copywriting, on-page optimization, basic design, analytics & reporting, stakeholder communication.

  • Abilities: Prioritize effectively, turn data into decisions, document processes, maintain brand consistency, and work autonomously.

Benefits

  • 100% remote-first culture with flexible working.

  • Opportunity to own strategy + execution and see your ideas ship fast.

  • Access to premium tools and paid courses for continuous learning.

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.

  • Fast-growing brand with a mission to help freshers and early-career talent succeed.
