Job Summary

Global Finance Team is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our growing financial operations. This remote role is ideal for individuals who excel at managing invoicing, collections, account reconciliation, and customer communication. The successful candidate will ensure timely payments, maintain accurate records, and contribute significantly to the company’s financial health and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, issue, and monitor customer invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and manage collection activities professionally and effectively.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  • Maintain updated records of accounts receivable transactions and payment histories.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to verify billing details and address customer concerns.

  • Prepare regular reports on receivables status, aging summaries, and payment forecasts.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial standards, and audit requirements.

  • Assist with month-end closing activities and support audits when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Strong proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and digital finance tools.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setup.

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and receivables management.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or related financial roles.

  • Experience working in a remote environment is an added advantage.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite) is highly preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexible remote work hours.

  • Standard schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.

  • Occasional adjustments may be required during peak periods or financial closing cycles.

  • Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy.

  • Professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
