Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a motivated and technically proficient Application Support Engineer with a strong focus on customer support to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for application-related issues through email, chat, and phone channels.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software problems, guiding customers with clear and effective solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to identify, escalate, and resolve technical issues.

  • Document incidents, solutions, and known issues in the knowledge base for internal and external use.

  • Monitor application performance, report anomalies, and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.

  • Assist in application deployment, configuration, and testing as needed.

  • Ensure timely follow-ups with customers to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to understand and resolve technical issues effectively.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems and familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL).

  • Basic knowledge of software development processes, APIs, and web applications.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.

  • Customer-focused mindset with patience and professionalism.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in application support, customer support, or IT helpdesk roles is acceptable. Fresh graduates with strong technical acumen are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience interacting with clients or end-users to resolve technical issues is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role with flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones.

  • Occasional shifts may be required to provide timely customer support for critical issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.

  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving application issues.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle customer queries professionally and empathetically.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk) is a plus.
