Job Summary

Kotak Mahindra Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Back Office Operations & Documentation Associate to support critical operational and documentation processes. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across internal banking operations. The associate will work closely with internal teams to manage documentation, verify data, and maintain high standards of operational excellence, contributing directly to seamless customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end back-office operations related to banking products and services.
  • Prepare, verify, review, and maintain customer and transactional documentation in line with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and timely updating of records in core banking and internal systems.
  • Support processing of applications, account-related requests, and service instructions.
  • Coordinate with front-end teams, operations, and compliance departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper filing, indexing, and retrieval of physical and digital documents.
  • Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, audit, and compliance standards at all times.
  • Assist in internal audits and inspections by providing required documentation and reports.
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or any relevant discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of regional languages is an advantage).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
  • Basic understanding of banking operations and documentation processes is preferred.

Experience

  • Freshers are welcome to apply.
  • 0–3 years of experience in back-office operations, banking documentation, or financial services will be an added advantage.
  • Prior exposure to banking, NBFCs, or financial institutions is desirable but not mandatory.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position
  • Standard banking working hours (Monday to Friday / as per business requirements)
  • Occasional extended hours during peak operational periods or audits

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
