The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems that ensure seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications and APIs for the DailyMart Online platform.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Optimize database performance and ensure data security across all backend processes.

• Implement server-side logic, authentication, and authorization frameworks.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing backend systems.

• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and APIs to improve system functionality.

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and efficiency to support growing user demand.

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.

• Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of security principles, data protection, and system authentication.

• Ability to work in a collaborative, agile development environment.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

• 2–4 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer in e-commerce, retail, or online platforms.

• Prior experience in building scalable online store systems will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with flexible working hours.

• Core collaboration hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST.

• Remote work with occasional virtual team meetings.
