Job Summary

Cruise Ship Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cabin Steward to join our housekeeping and guest room services team. As a Cabin Steward, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional onboard experience to our guests by maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and comfort in assigned cabins and public areas. Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest cabins to the highest standard, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.

• Replenish cabin amenities, linens, and towels according to company standards.

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and resolve minor issues in a professional manner.

• Report maintenance issues, lost items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.

• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, corridors, and stairways when assigned.

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and crew.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and high guest satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, methods, and equipment.

• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Experience

• Prior experience in housekeeping, hotel services, or cruise ship operations is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in customer service or guest relations is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Full-time, rotational shifts in a 24/7 operational environment.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per cruise itineraries.

• Typical workweek includes 6–7 days onboard, with scheduled days off during the cruise.
