Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Cloud DevOps Lead (AWS/Terraform) to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure across global projects. This leadership role is ideal for a senior DevOps professional who is passionate about cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, and building scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

As a Cloud DevOps Lead, you will play a strategic role in shaping our cloud architecture, mentoring DevOps engineers, and ensuring best practices in CI/CD, security, monitoring, and cost optimization across AWS environments. You will collaborate closely with software engineering, security, and product teams in both India and the US, supporting mission-critical systems for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.

• Architect highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems in a multi-region AWS environment.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.

• Manage cloud security, including IAM roles, policies, VPC design, and compliance best practices.

• Monitor system performance, reliability, and cost, implementing proactive improvements and optimizations.

• Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, setting technical standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with development teams to enable DevSecOps culture and cloud-native development.

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and lead incident response for production systems.

• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to continuously improve cloud operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.

• Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).

• Good understanding of networking concepts, security, and cloud cost management.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.

Experience

• 7+ years of overall experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

• 3+ years in a senior or lead role managing cloud infrastructure projects.

• Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale AWS environments.

• Experience working with distributed or remote global teams is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working model.

• Must be available for partial overlap with both India and US time zones.

• Typical schedule: 40 hours per week, with occasional on-call support for critical systems.
