Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS/Terraform) to join our growing remote engineering team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical business applications across multiple domains.

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our cloud-first strategy, enabling development teams through robust platform services, infrastructure automation, and best-in-class security and reliability practices. You will collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Software Engineering teams to deliver resilient and cost-efficient cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, primarily Terraform.
• Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines for automated cloud provisioning.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of cloud platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive incident detection and resolution.
• Collaborate with application teams to onboard workloads to the cloud platform.
• Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing, automation, and governance policies.
• Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM, network segmentation, and compliance controls.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues in production environments.
• Document architecture, standards, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Proven expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems administration.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPN).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS in production environments.
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams is an advantage.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Working Hours

• Fully Remote (India).
• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST.
• Flexibility may be required for collaboration with global teams.
