Job Summary

The Trust & Safety Team is seeking a highly attentive and reliable Content Moderator to help maintain a positive, safe, and compliant environment across our social media platforms. In this role, you will review, analyze, and take action on user-generated content to ensure it aligns with community standards, legal requirements, and platform policies. You will play a critical part in protecting user well-being, preventing harmful content, and supporting a trusted digital ecosystem for global audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review user-generated content across multiple social media channels in real time.

  • Identify, classify, escalate, or remove content that violates safety policies, including spam, misinformation, hate speech, explicit material, and harmful behavior.

  • Apply internal guidelines consistently to ensure fair and accurate moderation decisions.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis on repetitive content issues and report trends to the Trust & Safety leadership team.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Policy, Legal, Quality Assurance) to refine and improve moderation procedures.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance content quality and platform safety.

  • Handle sensitive or explicit content professionally, maintaining emotional and ethical resilience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong command of written and spoken English.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to make sound judgments based on established guidelines.

  • Capability to handle sensitive, disturbing, or graphic content in a professional manner.

  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret and apply policies.

  • Good computer literacy with experience working across multiple windows, tools, and dashboards.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

  • Strong time management, task prioritization, and organizational skills.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in content moderation, customer support, digital operations, trust & safety, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Experience working in social media environments, online communities, or BPO operations is an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role with rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays depending on business needs.

  • Flexibility to work night shifts or extended hours during peak content activity.

  • Remote, hybrid, or on-site options may be available based on company policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, online behavior patterns, and emerging digital risks.

  • Familiarity with global content policies, trust & safety practices, and moderation workflows.

  • Emotional resilience and the ability to maintain composure when viewing challenging content.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to escalate critical content promptly and effectively.
