Job Summary
SecureTech Philippines is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard our digital infrastructure and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data. In this role, you will monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, analyze threats, and implement robust risk mitigation strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance, enhance security posture, and respond swiftly to cyber incidents. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for cybersecurity, continuous learning, and detail-oriented problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor security systems, logs, and alerts to detect unusual activities and potential security breaches.

Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk evaluations to identify system weaknesses.

Investigate security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and other security tools.

Develop, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of networks, servers, and applications.

Conduct periodic security awareness training for employees.

Prepare detailed reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and security posture improvements.

Ensure compliance with local and international cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.

Stay updated on emerging threats, security trends, and technological advancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Strong understanding of network security, system protection, and incident response frameworks.

Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and vulnerability scanners.

Knowledge of cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Familiarity with encryption technologies, authentication protocols, and secure coding principles.

Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or related credentials are a strong advantage.

Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience

Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security operations, or related technical fields.

Experience in incident response, threat detection, or security monitoring is preferred.

Previous work in a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment is a plus.
Working Hours

Full-time employment with standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Flexibility may be required to respond to urgent security incidents or system alerts.
