Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Listen carefully to recorded audio or video materials and accurately transcribe spoken words into written text.

• Ensure proper formatting, punctuation, and adherence to client or company transcription guidelines.

• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

• Identify and correct any inconsistencies or errors in transcribed content.

• Maintain records of completed tasks and meet assigned deadlines.

• Collaborate with supervisors or project managers to clarify unclear audio content or transcription instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent command of the English language with strong grammar and punctuation skills.

• Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 50 words per minute preferred).

• Keen attention to detail and strong listening comprehension.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with transcription software or text editing tools (optional but preferred).

• Good time management and multitasking abilities.

• Reliable internet connection and access to a personal computer or laptop.

Experience
