Colitco Media is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Freelance Content Reviewer & Editor to support the quality and consistency of our digital content. In this role, you will review, edit, and refine a wide range of materials—including blogs, web copy, articles, and marketing content—to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment. Key Responsibilities

• Review and edit written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, and style.

• Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve content quality.

• Optimize content for readability and basic SEO best practices when applicable.

• Maintain consistency across multiple content pieces and projects.

• Meet agreed deadlines while managing multiple assignments.

• Collaborate with content managers, writers, and marketing teams as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong proofreading and copyediting abilities with high attention to detail.

• Familiarity with major style guides (AP, Chicago, or similar).

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Proficiency with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or similar editing tools.

• Basic understanding of SEO principles is preferred.

• Strong critical thinking and fact-checking skills.

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in content editing, proofreading, or content review.

• Experience working with digital marketing or online publishing environments is highly desirable.
