Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to audio or video recordings and transcribe them into written text with high accuracy

  • Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and clarity

  • Ensure formatting and style guidelines are consistently followed

  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • Meet daily or weekly transcription targets and deadlines

  • Communicate with project managers when clarification is needed

  • Maintain updated knowledge of transcription tools and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent English listening and comprehension skills

  • Strong typing speed (minimum 50 words per minute recommended)

  • Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and spelling ability

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable with a variety of audio formats and accents

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Experience

  • No prior transcription experience required — full training provided

  • Experience in transcription, data entry, content writing, or language-related work is an advantage

  • Familiarity with transcription software or tools is a plus
