Job Summary

AudioNote Transcriptions is seeking detail-oriented, reliable, and highly skilled General Transcriptionists to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately converting audio and video recordings into clear, well-formatted written documents. This position is ideal for individuals who excel at listening, typing, and maintaining strong attention to detail while working independently. Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio and video files accurately into written text with correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting.

• Review transcripts for clarity, consistency, and quality before submission.

• Meet assigned deadlines while maintaining high accuracy standards.

• Follow project specifications and style guidelines for various clients.

• Handle sensitive or confidential content with professionalism and discretion.

• Communicate promptly with the quality assurance team when clarification is needed.

• Upload completed work through the company’s secure platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent English listening, comprehension, and writing skills.

• Fast and accurate typing ability (recommended: 60+ WPM).

• Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and formatting rules.

• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to style guides.

• Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and headset or audio playback equipment.

• Ability to work with various audio qualities and diverse accents.

• Strong time-management and organizational skills.

Experience

• Prior transcription experience (general, legal, or medical) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with transcription software or foot pedals is an advantage.

• New but motivated freelancers with excellent language skills are encouraged to apply.
