Job Summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Aerospace Engineer specializing in Structural Analysis to join our world-class engineering team. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structural analysis of aerospace components, including stress, strain, vibration, fatigue, and thermal evaluations.

  • Develop and validate computational models using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other engineering tools.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, materials, and manufacturing engineers, to optimize component performance.

  • Review and interpret test data, supporting experimental validation of structural models.

  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to meet safety, quality, and performance requirements.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Continuously improve engineering practices through research, learning, and adoption of best-in-class methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong foundation in structural mechanics, materials science, and aerospace design principles.

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN, CATIA, Abaqus).

  • Understanding of fatigue, fracture mechanics, and vibration analysis.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts.

  • Passion for aerospace engineering and commitment to continuous learning.

Experience

  • Recent graduates or up to 2 years of relevant experience in structural analysis, aerospace engineering, or a related field.

  • Internship or project experience in aerospace design, FEA, or structural testing is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, typically Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours may apply depending on project requirements.
