Job Summary

MedFlow Innovations is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Healthcare Billing Officer to join our remote billing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate claim submissions, timely payments, and efficient revenue cycle management. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance companies and third-party payers

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility

• Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and rejections

• Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with payer requirements and regulations

• Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain patient billing records and documentation

• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance representatives

• Assist in process improvement initiatives to reduce claim denials

• Generate billing reports and support audits when required

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of medical billing procedures and terminology

• Knowledge of insurance guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Payers)

• Proficiency in medical billing software and EHR systems

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in healthcare billing, medical claims, or revenue cycle management

• Experience in a remote medical billing environment is an advantage

• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes preferred

Working Hours

• Remote work flexibility
