Job Summary

IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Independent Educational Consultant to support students, academic institutions, and partner organizations within the higher education ecosystem. This fully remote role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about education, student success, and institutional development. The consultant will provide expert guidance on academic pathways, admissions processes, curriculum alignment, and strategic education planning, helping learners and institutions achieve their academic and career goals.

As an Independent Educational Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor, delivering personalized, data-driven recommendations while working flexibly with diverse stakeholders across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic and career counseling to students pursuing higher education.

• Guide students through university/college selection, admissions processes, applications, and enrollment strategies.

• Support institutions with program evaluation, curriculum alignment, and academic pathway development.

• Conduct needs assessments to identify student goals, learning gaps, and institutional requirements.

• Develop tailored education plans and roadmaps for students and partner organizations.

• Stay updated with global higher education trends, accreditation standards, and admission requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams to design educational solutions and advisory frameworks.

• Prepare reports, recommendations, and progress updates for stakeholders.

• Deliver virtual workshops, webinars, and information sessions when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of higher education systems, academic pathways, and student lifecycle management.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, self-managed environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in digital tools (CRM systems, video conferencing platforms, MS Office/Google Workspace).

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in educational consulting, academic advising, admissions counseling, or higher education administration.

• Experience working with international students or global education systems is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in remote consulting or freelance advisory roles is an advantage.

Working Hours
