We are offering a Product Development Internship for Mechanical Engineering students and recent graduates who are eager to gain real-world exposure in engineering design and innovation. This role provides hands-on experience in conceptualizing, designing, prototyping, and testing mechanical products while working with cross-functional teams.

The intern will report to the Product Development Engineer / R&D Manager.
What will you do?

Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and products.

Create 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using design software.

Participate in brainstorming, concept generation, and feasibility studies.

Support prototyping, testing, and design validation processes.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM).

Document design changes, technical reports, and specifications.

Research new materials, tools, and technologies relevant to product development.
What are we looking for?

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Strong fundamentals in machine design, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, or NX).

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good teamwork and communication abilities.

Curiosity and willingness to learn.
What additional skills will help you stand out?

Experience with prototyping tools (3D printing, CNC, laser cutting).

Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.

Knowledge of simulation/analysis tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, or COMSOL).

Prior academic projects or mini-internships in product design.
