Job Summary

Clevered is seeking a passionate and dynamic Live Coding Instructor to deliver engaging, interactive coding lessons to K–12 students in an online environment. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners, simplify complex programming concepts, and foster computational thinking skills through live virtual instruction. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching children.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live, instructor-led coding sessions for K–12 students using the prescribed curriculum.

• Explain programming concepts in a clear, age-appropriate, and engaging manner.

• Customize teaching approaches based on students’ learning levels and needs.

• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents when required.

• Maintain high classroom engagement through interactive activities, projects, and quizzes.

• Troubleshoot basic technical issues faced by students during sessions.

• Collaborate with the curriculum and academic teams to enhance course delivery.

• Ensure punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to teaching schedules.

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and session reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Scratch, Python, JavaScript, or similar.

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to teach and engage young learners in a virtual environment.

• Comfortable using online teaching platforms and digital collaboration tools.

• Strong classroom management skills in an online setting.

• Patient, energetic, and student-focused mindset.

• Basic understanding of STEM education principles.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related field preferred.

• Prior experience teaching coding/programming to children is highly desirable.

• Freshers with strong technical and communication skills may also apply.

• Experience in online/live teaching platforms is an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible, part-time or full-time shifts available.

• Primarily evening and weekend availability preferred to align with student schedules.

• Work-from-home/remote teaching setup.
