Job Summary

CareCompanions Staffing is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Live-Out Weekend Nanny to provide high-quality childcare for families over the weekend. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage schedules efficiently, and communicate effectively with parents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care for children during weekend hours.

• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, educational games, and outdoor play.

• Prepare meals and snacks according to the family’s guidelines and children’s dietary needs.

• Assist with morning and evening routines, including bathing, dressing, and bedtime preparation.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment.

• Monitor children’s health, behavior, and development, and report any concerns to parents.

• Support light household duties related to childcare, such as laundry and cleaning up after meals.

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding schedules, progress, and any important observations.

• Manage emergency situations calmly and responsibly, following all safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a nanny, babysitter, or childcare provider.

• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children and adults.

• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively.

• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.

• Flexibility to accommodate varying family schedules.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience, preferably in a live-out or weekend nanny role.

• Experience with infants and toddlers is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Weekend coverage: Saturday and Sunday (specific hours to be discussed with the family).

• Flexibility for occasional extended hours or additional days as needed.
