Job Summary

SecureMalls Inc. is seeking dedicated and vigilant Mall Security Personnel to join our team in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, employees, and tenants. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring security procedures are followed, preventing theft, monitoring premises, and responding effectively to emergencies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are professional, alert, and committed to public safety. Both full-time and part-time roles are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of visitors and staff.

• Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, or security breaches.

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and calls for assistance.

• Provide directions, assistance, and customer service to visitors when needed.

• Enforce mall rules, regulations, and safety policies.

• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when required.

• Prepare accurate incident and daily activity reports.

• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas.

• Support in handling lost-and-found property and crowd management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong observational and communication skills.

• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.

• Basic computer literacy for reporting and communication tasks.

• Professional demeanor with a customer-focused approach.

• Must be physically fit to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a customer-facing role preferred but not required.

• On-the-job training will be provided for entry-level applicants.

Working Hours

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week, rotating shifts (day, evening, or night).

• Part-Time: Flexible schedules with weekend and holiday availability required.

• Knowledge of basic security and safety practices.

• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the public.
