Job Summary

Summit Bank is seeking highly motivated and analytical Management Trainees (Finance) to join our dynamic finance team. As a Management Trainee, you will undergo a structured training program that provides hands-on exposure to core banking operations, financial analysis, risk management, compliance, and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive management trainee program focused on finance and banking operations.

• Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Learn and contribute to credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial controls.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including treasury, audit, compliance, and operations.

• Assist in monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

• Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior management review.

• Stay updated with banking regulations, financial policies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic financial modeling.

• Good understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and banking fundamentals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Experience

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience in finance, banking, or accounting are encouraged to apply.

• Internship or project experience in a financial institution or corporate finance role will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position

• Standard banking hours, Monday to Friday

• Additional hours may be required during month-end, quarter-end, or critical reporting periods

• Basic understanding of banking products, credit, and risk management concepts.
