Job Summary

Consumer Insights is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Analyst to join our growing research team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about understanding consumer behavior, market trends, and data-driven decision-making. The Market Research Analyst will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and execute quantitative and qualitative market research studies

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret consumer, market, and competitive data

  • Develop surveys, questionnaires, and research methodologies aligned with business objectives

  • Analyze trends, customer preferences, pricing strategies, and market opportunities

  • Prepare clear and compelling reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to support strategic initiatives

  • Monitor industry developments and emerging consumer trends

  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality of research data

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, Python, or similar)

  • Experience with survey platforms and research methodologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field

  • 2–5 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or consumer insights

  • Experience working with both primary and secondary research data is preferred

  • Exposure to FMCG, retail, digital, or B2B research is an advantage

Working Hours

  • Full-time position

  • Standard business hours, Monday to Friday

  • Flexible or hybrid work options may be available depending on project needs

  • Strong understanding of market research techniques and statistical analysis

  • Ability to interpret consumer behavior and market dynamics

  • Skilled in storytelling with data and insight-driven reporting
