Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools, primarily SolidWorks.

Create detailed 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation for manufacturing.

Collaborate with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.

Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and tolerance analyses to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.

Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.

Continuously identify opportunities for design improvements, material optimization, and process efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Maintain accurate project records and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Strong proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks, with a portfolio of mechanical design projects.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical systems.

Excellent understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and engineering standards.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
Experience

2–5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial automation environment.

Hands-on experience with SolidWorks for creating complex assemblies, simulations, and technical drawings.

Experience in prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvement is highly desirable.
Working Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible working hours may apply).
