Job Summary

SkyCure Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Accounts & Billing Specialist to join our growing healthcare operations team. In this role, you will manage patient accounts, oversee billing processes, handle insurance claims, and ensure accurate reimbursement for medical services. You will work closely with internal departments, patients, and insurance providers to maintain billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to efficient revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance companies.

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.

• Maintain and update patient accounts with accurate billing information.

• Investigate and resolve denied or unpaid claims.

• Ensure coding and billing compliance with industry standards.

• Handle patient billing inquiries and provide account clarification.

• Coordinate with physicians, business office, and insurance representatives.

• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Generate billing reports and assist with financial analysis.

• Review EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) to ensure proper reimbursement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.

• Proficiency with medical billing software and EHR systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare RCM.

• Prior experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans is a plus.

• Knowledge of reimbursement processes and claim appeals is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).
