Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking meticulous and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionists to join our remote team, supporting US-based healthcare clients. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical reports dictated by physicians and healthcare professionals while ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA regulations. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical documentation that supports patient care and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical records, clinical notes, and physician dictations from US healthcare clients.

• Review and edit transcription for grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology accuracy.

• Ensure all transcribed documents meet HIPAA and organizational compliance standards.

• Research and verify unclear medical terms or diagnoses to maintain precision.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times.

• Manage daily transcription workload to meet deadlines and productivity targets.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and internal quality assurance teams for clarification as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent command of the English language, including medical terminology.

• Strong typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) with high accuracy.

• Familiarity with medical transcription software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy regulations.

• Strong research and analytical skills for accurate transcription.

Experience

• Previous experience as a medical transcriptionist or in a similar healthcare documentation role is preferred.

• Familiarity with US healthcare practices and medical terminology is highly desirable.

• Open to entry-level candidates with relevant education or certification in medical transcription.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working hours; part-time or full-time positions available.
