Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe and edit dictations from radiologists into accurate radiology reports.

• Ensure proper formatting, grammar, and medical accuracy in all documents.

• Review and verify patient data for consistency and completeness.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other healthcare data regulations.

• Collaborate with radiologists, medical staff, and quality assurance teams to clarify unclear dictations.

• Prioritize workloads to meet strict turnaround times for urgent cases.

• Update and maintain accurate medical records in electronic health systems.

• Stay current with medical terminology, radiology procedures, and transcription software updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical transcription with a strong focus on radiology terminology.

• Excellent listening skills and the ability to interpret various accents and speech patterns.

• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

• Knowledge of medical records management and electronic health systems (EHR/EMR).

• High typing speed with outstanding accuracy.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist (radiology experience preferred).

• Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital setting will be an advantage.

• Freshers with transcription training and certifications may also be considered.

Working Hours

• Flexible scheduling options with part-time and full-time availability.
