We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our growing global technology team. This role is fully remote, supporting operations across Spain and the UK. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure that supports business-critical systems and ensures secure, high-performance connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud networking environments.

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime.

• Manage network security configurations including firewalls, routing, and access controls.

• Support and maintain enterprise-grade switches, routers, and wireless access points.

• Perform network capacity planning and documentation.

• Collaborate with IT teams to implement network solutions for new projects and expansions.

• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior staff when necessary.

• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to proactively identify network issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment.

• Proficiency with TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPN technologies.

• Experience with firewall configuration, network monitoring tools, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus).

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
