Job Summary

Corporate HQ is seeking a responsible, dedicated, and proactive Office Boy/Peon to support the daily operational functions of our workplace. This role involves maintaining office cleanliness, assisting staff with routine tasks, ensuring smooth movement of documents and supplies, and helping create an organized and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a high standard of support to all departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across office areas, including workstations, meeting rooms, pantry, and washrooms.

  • Serve beverages (tea/coffee/water) to staff and visitors when required.

  • Handle the opening and closing of the office premises (if assigned).

  • Assist with photocopying, scanning, filing, and delivery of documents across departments.

  • Ensure office supplies, stationery, and pantry items are well-stocked at all times.

  • Run small errands such as bank visits, post office tasks, or purchasing items from nearby vendors.

  • Support administrative staff in daily clerical activities.

  • Help arrange meeting rooms, including setting up chairs, tables, or materials needed for internal and external meetings.

  • Handle basic maintenance reporting and notify management of any repair or service requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic reading and writing skills (minimum 10th pass preferred).

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

  • Strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene.

  • Good communication and interpersonal behavior.

  • Physically fit and able to handle routine movement and lifting of light materials.

  • Trustworthy and punctual with strong discipline.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience as Office Boy, Peon, Helper, or in a similar support role.

  • Freshers with the right attitude and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Full-time: 8–9 hours per day

  • Monday to Saturday (or as per company schedule)

  • Occasional extended hours during busy periods or special events may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Basic understanding of office operations and housekeeping tasks.

  • Ability to manage multiple small tasks without supervision.

  • Strong customer-service approach when dealing with staff and visitors.

  • Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude towards routine work.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle documents with care.
