Job Summary

Assurant is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Online Insurance Policy Encoder to join our remote operations team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and organization of digital insurance data. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and encoding policy-related information into our database systems. This role is perfect for individuals who possess strong attention to detail, data management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter, verify, and update customer insurance policy details into the company’s digital systems.

• Review scanned documents, digital files, and insurance forms for completeness and accuracy.

• Ensure data compliance with company policies, privacy laws, and regulatory standards.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and financial information.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data inconsistencies or errors.

• Generate reports and summaries for management as required.

• Meet established productivity and quality standards within set deadlines.

• Perform periodic audits of encoded information to ensure ongoing data accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Proficiency in data entry software, Microsoft Excel, and digital record management systems.

• Excellent typing speed with high accuracy (minimum 40 WPM preferred).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

• Familiarity with insurance terminology and policy structures is an advantage.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, insurance processing, or administrative roles preferred.

• Freshers with strong computer literacy and attention to detail are also encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote schedule.

• Full-time position with standard working hours (Monday to Friday).

• Occasional overtime may be required during high-volume periods.
