Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Online Math & Science Instructor to deliver engaging, high-quality virtual instruction to high school students. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about fostering academic excellence in a remote learning environment and committed to helping students build strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

The successful candidate will design and deliver interactive lessons aligned with curriculum standards, assess student progress, and provide individualized academic support. As a fully remote position, this role requires strong digital proficiency, self-discipline, and the ability to create a dynamic virtual classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live and/or recorded online instruction in high school-level Mathematics and/or Science subjects (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Create engaging instructional materials, assessments, and assignments.
• Monitor student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic progress.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive virtual classroom environment.
• Utilize educational technology platforms effectively for instruction and communication.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents (if applicable), and academic coordinators.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and curriculum planning.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification (preferred but not mandatory depending on region).
• Strong command of high school Math and/or Science curricula.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in online teaching tools and learning management systems (LMS).
• Strong classroom management skills in a virtual environment.
• Ability to engage and motivate students remotely.
• High level of organization and time management.

Experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience at the high school level.
• Prior experience teaching in an online or blended learning environment is highly preferred.
• Experience preparing students for standardized exams is an advantage.
• Demonstrated success in improving student academic outcomes.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote schedule based on assigned teaching hours.
• Availability during standard high school hours (aligned with designated time zone).
• May require evening or weekend sessions depending on student needs.
• Commitment to timely grading and responsiveness outside live session hours.
