Job Summary

PlanetSpark is seeking passionate and dedicated Online Maths & English Tutors to deliver engaging, high-quality virtual learning experiences to students. This remote role is ideal for educators who enjoy working in a fast-paced EdTech environment and are committed to helping learners build strong academic foundations and confidence in Maths and English. The tutor will conduct live, interactive sessions, track student progress, and contribute to improved learning outcomes through structured teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live online Maths and English classes for assigned students using PlanetSpark’s digital platform.

• Deliver well-structured, engaging, and student-centric lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.

• Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

• Customize teaching strategies based on individual learning needs and levels.

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson outcomes.

• Ensure high student engagement and retention through interactive teaching methods.

• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and quality reviews as required.

• Adhere to company policies, teaching standards, and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).

• Strong command of spoken and written English.

• Solid understanding of foundational Maths and English concepts.

• Comfortable using online teaching tools, video conferencing platforms, and digital whiteboards.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to build rapport with students across different age groups.

• Quiet home workspace with reliable high-speed internet and a functional computer/laptop.

Experience

• Prior experience in online tutoring, teaching, or EdTech platforms is preferred.

• Fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply.

• Experience teaching primary or middle school students is an advantage.

Working Hours
