Job Summary

Lugeta Academy is seeking a passionate and results-driven Online Speed Math & Vedic Math Tutor to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging virtual lessons that enhance students’ mental math abilities, numerical confidence, and problem-solving speed. This role requires a strong command of Vedic Math techniques, excellent online teaching skills, and the ability to motivate learners across different age groups. The tutor will play a key role in improving students’ mathematical performance through innovative and interactive teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live online classes on Speed Math and Vedic Math for assigned student groups.

• Develop structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and student learning levels.

• Teach mental calculation techniques, shortcuts, and problem-solving strategies effectively.

• Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and regular feedback.

• Provide individualized support to students who need additional guidance.

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and lesson completion.

• Use digital teaching tools, whiteboards, and interactive methods to enhance engagement.

• Communicate regularly with parents and academic coordinators regarding student progress.

• Stay updated with new teaching methodologies and Vedic Math advancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Speed Math and Vedic Math techniques.

• Excellent online teaching and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in using virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

• Clear verbal and written communication in English.

• Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for young learners.

• Strong classroom management skills in a virtual environment.

• Patient, enthusiastic, and student-focused teaching approach.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience teaching Mathematics, preferably Vedic Math.

• Prior experience in online tutoring or virtual classrooms is highly desirable.

• Experience working with school-age students (primary to secondary levels) preferred.

• Freshers with strong Vedic Math certification and demo teaching skills may be considered.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working model.

• Part-time or full-time slots available based on batch allocation.

• Evening and weekend availability may be required to accommodate student schedules.

• Typical session duration: 45–60 minutes per class.
