Job Summary
OneTech Associates is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Online UI/UX Design Assistant (Intern) to support our design and product development teams. This internship is ideal for aspiring designers who want to gain hands-on experience in user interface and user experience design while working closely with experienced professionals. You will assist in creating digital design assets, improving user flows, conducting research, and contributing to the overall visual and functional quality of our digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of UI designs, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for web and mobile platforms.
- Support UX research initiatives such as user interviews, persona development, and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with senior designers to refine layouts, color palettes, iconography, and typography.
- Prepare and organize design files, components, and design systems.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews.
- Conduct usability testing and document user insights to support design improvements.
- Ensure consistency across all digital design elements and brand guidelines.
- Assist in creating presentation materials for internal and client-facing design discussions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles, design thinking, and visual communication.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and user testing processes.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to organize tasks efficiently and work within deadlines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Experience
- No professional experience required; however, a design portfolio (academic, personal, or project-based) is highly preferred.
- Prior coursework, certifications, or self-learning in UI/UX design is an added advantage.
Working Hours
- Flexible remote working schedule.
- Expected commitment: 10–20 hours per week depending on academic or personal availability.
- Occasional virtual team meetings may be scheduled.

- Strong understanding of layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Basic knowledge of user research and usability testing methods.
- Ability to think analytically and solve design-related problems creatively.
