Job Summary:

City Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist/Dispenser to join our professional healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Counsel patients on the safe use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions.

• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription logs.

• Assist in managing pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and expiration tracking.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including pharmacy laws and guidelines.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy.

• Provide over-the-counter medication guidance and advice on health and wellness products.

• Address patient queries professionally and empathetically, maintaining high standards of customer service.

• Participate in health promotion activities, vaccination drives, and community outreach programs when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (BPharm/DPharm) from a recognized institution.

• Valid registration/license to practice as a pharmacist/dispenser.

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Computer literacy for record-keeping and inventory management.

Experience:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred.

• Experience with dispensing both prescription and over-the-counter medications.

• Familiarity with pharmacy management software is an advantage.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position; typically 8–10 hours per day.

• Rotational shifts including weekends, depending on pharmacy hours.

• Flexibility to cover peak periods and emergencies.
