Job Summary

SBICAP, a leading financial advisory and investment banking arm of the State Bank of India Group, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Relationship Officer to join our team in Trivandrum. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and delivering tailored solutions that align with SBICAP’s high standards of professionalism, integrity, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Understand client financial requirements and recommend suitable financial products and services.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and referrals.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive service and follow-ups.
• Assist in documentation, onboarding, and compliance-related activities as per company policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate client records and prepare periodic reports as required by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Customer-centric approach with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Basic understanding of financial products, investment concepts, and banking services.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in relationship management, customer service, banking, financial services, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a keen interest in financial services are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in client-facing roles will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position
• Standard business hours, Monday to Friday
• Occasional extended hours may be required to meet client or business needs
