Job Summary
HR Talent Solutions is seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Remote Billing Specialist – Dental & Medical to join our growing healthcare support team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in US healthcare billing who are passionate about accuracy, compliance, and revenue cycle excellence.
As a Remote Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end billing processes for dental and medical practices across the United States. You will ensure claims are submitted accurately and on time, resolve denials, follow up on unpaid claims, and maintain compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines. This is a fully remote position offering long-term stability and opportunities for professional growth in the healthcare revenue cycle domain.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit dental and medical insurance claims (electronic and paper).

Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage.

Ensure accurate coding using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS standards.

Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve discrepancies with payers.

Post payments, adjustments, and patient payments accurately.

Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients regarding billing issues.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer regulations.

Generate billing reports and support month-end reconciliation.

Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase collections and reduce denials.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of US healthcare billing and insurance processes.

Proficiency in dental and medical billing workflows.

Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.

Experience working with EHR/EMR and practice management systems.

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in US medical and/or dental billing.

Prior experience in remote healthcare billing roles preferred.

Experience working with US insurance providers such as Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, and HMO plans.
Working Hours

Full-time: 40 hours per week

US business hours (EST/CST/PST shifts depending on client needs)
