Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with advanced expertise in ICD-10 coding to join our remote healthcare operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate medical coding, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and help optimize the revenue cycle process. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, auditors, and billing specialists to guarantee high-quality documentation and coding accuracy in a fully remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and medical services.

• Analyze clinical documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with payer-specific guidelines.

• Support physicians and clinical staff with documentation improvement recommendations.

• Perform coding audits and participate in quality assurance activities.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS regulations, and all coding compliance standards.

• Collaborate with billing teams to resolve coding-related claim denials or discrepancies.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding updates, payer rules, and regulatory changes.

• Prepare periodic reports on coding productivity, accuracy, and performance metrics.

• Participate in virtual training sessions, meetings, and professional development programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active AAPC CPC certification (mandatory).

• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.

• Ability to analyze complex clinical data and translate it into accurate codes.

• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and coding accuracy.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical billing software.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on medical coding experience, preferably in a multispecialty or hospital setting.

• Prior experience working with ICD-10 coding in outpatient or inpatient environments.

• Experience handling coding audits, compliance reviews, or claim denial resolution is a plus.

Working Hours

• Fully remote, flexible schedule within standard business hours.

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional availability for virtual meetings or training sessions.
