Job Summary

IT sight Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Claims Assessor to support our growing General Insurance projects portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and processing insurance claims in accordance with policy terms, regulatory standards, and internal guidelines. This role requires strong investigative skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess general insurance claims for validity, completeness, and policy compliance.

• Analyze claim documentation including reports, photos, medical records, and supporting evidence.

• Determine claim liability and recommend approvals, adjustments, or denials based on policy terms.

• Communicate with policyholders, brokers, adjusters, and internal stakeholders to obtain additional information when required.

• Maintain accurate and timely claim records within the claims management system.

• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate suspicious cases appropriately.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Prepare clear and professional claim assessment reports.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of general insurance principles and claims processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in MS Office and claims management systems.

• Ability to manage multiple claims efficiently in a remote work environment.

• Sound decision-making and professional judgment.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in insurance claims assessment, underwriting support, or claims processing.

• Experience handling general insurance lines such as motor, property, or liability claims preferred.

• Prior remote work experience is an advantage.

• Exposure to international insurance markets is a plus.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position.
