Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret patient claim forms and medical documentation to ensure accurate data entry and coding.

• Accurately encode healthcare claims using standardized formats and coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS).

• Validate claim information to ensure compliance with insurance and regulatory guidelines.

• Work closely with claims processors and billing teams to resolve discrepancies or incomplete information.

• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient and organizational data at all times.

• Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy standards set by the department.

• Prepare and maintain claim records, audit reports, and transaction logs.

• Support continuous process improvement by identifying data inconsistencies and proposing solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing, Data Management, or a related field.

• Proficiency in data entry, healthcare claims systems, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Knowledge of healthcare claim coding and medical terminology preferred.

• Excellent typing speed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with HIPAA and data privacy regulations is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in claims data entry, healthcare data processing, or medical billing preferred.

• Fresh graduates with a background in health information management or data administration are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working schedule based on project requirements.

• Standard full-time hours (Monday to Friday).

• Occasional weekend or overtime work may be required during peak claim periods.
