Job Summary
MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a Remote Data Indexing and Archival Management Specialist to support our global data management operations. This role involves organizing, categorizing, and indexing vast sets of digital and physical records for quick retrieval, compliance, and preservation. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong analytical thinking, and proficiency in database systems and document management software. You will be responsible for ensuring all data and documents are accurately indexed, securely archived, and easily accessible to authorized personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Classify, tag, and index large volumes of digital files and documents following established standards.

Maintain and update the company’s data archival system to ensure consistency and traceability.

Verify document metadata accuracy and correct any discrepancies.

Implement and follow best practices for file naming, version control, and record retention.

Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely upload and secure storage of important data.

Conduct periodic audits of archived records to ensure compliance with organizational policies and data privacy regulations.

Support retrieval requests by locating, restoring, and delivering archived data efficiently.

Identify and propose improvements to existing data indexing and archiving processes.

Ensure all archived materials are safely stored and backed up using approved systems and software.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, Data Administration, or related field.

Strong knowledge of digital archiving systems and document management software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or database tools for indexing and reporting.

Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Familiarity with metadata standards and data categorization practices.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in data management, digital archiving, or information indexing roles.

Experience with tools like SharePoint, M-Files, OpenText, or other document management systems is an advantage.

Freshers with strong technical aptitude and training in data handling may also apply.
Working Hours

Flexible working schedule with options for part-time or full-time engagement.

Standard shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (can vary depending on time zone and project needs).
