Job Summary

TechPro Solutions is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote ESG Auditor – Sustainability Reporting to join our growing sustainability and compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, auditing, and validating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data and sustainability reports to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with global regulatory and reporting standards.

As an ESG Auditor, you will play a critical role in supporting organizations to enhance their sustainability performance, strengthen stakeholder trust, and meet regulatory obligations. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and global clients across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent audits and assessments of ESG and sustainability reports.

• Review and verify ESG data related to environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices.

• Ensure compliance with global reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, and CSRD.

• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in sustainability disclosures.

• Prepare audit reports, findings, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with sustainability, finance, and compliance teams to enhance ESG reporting quality.

• Support clients in preparing for regulatory audits and third-party assurance.

• Monitor evolving ESG regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Maintain audit documentation and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent analytical, auditing, and critical thinking skills.

• Proficiency in ESG data analysis and reporting tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to interpret complex sustainability and financial data.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ESG reporting platforms.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

• 3–6 years of experience in ESG auditing, sustainability consulting, compliance, or assurance roles.

• Experience working with ESG standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and IFRS sustainability standards.

• Prior experience in audit, risk, compliance, or sustainability advisory is highly preferred.

• Professional certifications such as CFA (ESG), ACCA, CPA, or Sustainability Reporting certifications are a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Standard business hours with flexibility based on global project requirements.

• Occasional availability for virtual meetings across different time zones.
