Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Financial Accountant with an active CPA license to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, preparing financial statements, and providing insights to drive strategic business decisions. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while contributing to a fast-paced and innovative organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accurate financial statements, reports, and summaries in accordance with GAAP.

• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, and coordinate external audits.

• Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance metrics.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

• Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Assist in the implementation of new accounting software, tools, or processes as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in corporate finance or public accounting.

• Experience managing remote financial processes and working with cross-functional teams is a plus.

• Exposure to financial audits, tax filings, and compliance procedures preferred.

Working Hours

• This is a full-time remote position.

• Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility may be required depending on deadlines or financial closing periods).

• Ability to manage workload independently while meeting deadlines in a virtual environment is essential.
