Job Summary

FreedomLine Contractors is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Remote Independent Call Agent to join our growing network of service professionals. In this fully remote, contractor-based role, you will handle inbound and outbound customer calls, assist with inquiries, provide product or service support, and ensure a smooth and positive customer experience. This position is ideal for individuals who are self-driven, disciplined, and eager to work independently while delivering exceptional service on behalf of our partnered clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional, courteous manner while maintaining high service quality standards.

  • Provide accurate information, resolve customer issues, and follow established call-handling protocols.

  • Document customer interactions, case notes, and follow-up actions in client systems or CRMs.

  • Escalate unresolved issues following the appropriate procedures.

  • Adhere to client-specific scripts, compliance requirements, and performance expectations.

  • Manage your own schedule and ensure timely logins for assigned service intervals.

  • Maintain a quiet, professional home workspace and reliable technology setup to support uninterrupted service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional phone presence.

  • Ability to multitask, navigate software systems, and manage call flows efficiently.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Basic computer literacy, including email, web-based applications, and call-handling tools.

  • A quiet home office space with a functioning computer, high-speed internet, and noise-canceling headset.

Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, or phone-based support is preferred.

  • Experience working as an independent contractor is a plus, but not required.

  • Training or background in remote service environments is advantageous.

Working Hours

  • Flexible, self-scheduled service hours based on client availability.

  • Agents may select work intervals throughout the week, including evenings and weekends, depending on client demand.

  • Minimum weekly hour commitment may vary by project but is generally self-managed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping customers.

  • Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and solution-oriented during challenging interactions.

  • Reliable time-management and self-organization skills.
