Job Summary

HR Talent Solutions is seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated Remote Medical Scribes to support US-based healthcare providers during night shift operations. The Medical Scribe will work closely with physicians and clinical teams to accurately document patient encounters in real time, ensuring complete and compliant electronic health records (EHR). This role is ideal for candidates with strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent listening skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time documentation of physician-patient encounters during virtual or telehealth consultations.
• Accurately enter patient histories, physical exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans into the EHR system.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
• Review charts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with US healthcare documentation requirements.
• Assist physicians with workflow efficiency by managing clinical documentation and administrative tasks.
• Flag missing or inconsistent information and seek clarification when needed.
• Update patient records, lab results, and follow-up instructions as directed by providers.
• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks established by the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation practices.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• High typing speed (minimum 40–60 WPM preferred) with strong accuracy.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to multitask and maintain focus during live patient encounters.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a distraction-free workspace.
• Willingness to work night shifts aligned with US time zones.

Experience

• Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience as a Medical Scribe or in clinical documentation (preferred).
• Experience supporting US healthcare providers is highly desirable.
• Freshers with relevant medical or life sciences background and strong documentation skills may be considered.

Working Hours

• Night shift aligned with US time zones (typically 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST, subject to change based on client requirements).
• Full-time remote position.
• Rotational weekly offs as per business needs.
