Job Summary

MedText Solutions is seeking a highly detail-oriented and professional Remote Medical Transcriptionist to join our growing healthcare documentation team. In this role, you will accurately transcribe medical reports, physician notes, and patient records while ensuring strict compliance with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and company standards. Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings from healthcare providers into accurate, comprehensive, and well-formatted medical reports.

• Review and edit dictated reports for grammar, clarity, and accuracy.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality at all times.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguous medical information.

• Utilize medical transcription software and tools efficiently to manage workflow.

• Maintain deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned transcription tasks.

• Keep updated with medical terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent command of English, including grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology.

• Strong typing speed with high accuracy (minimum 60 words per minute).

• Proficiency in medical transcription software and MS Office applications.

• Familiarity with medical abbreviations, anatomy, and clinical procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across reports.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Experience

• Prior experience in medical transcription, clinical documentation, or healthcare-related data entry preferred but not mandatory.

• Exposure to electronic health records (EHR) systems is an added advantage.
